astrid & miyu

Have you heard of Astrid & Miyu? I have recently discovered this jewellery brand by watching one of Lydia E Millen's vlogs on YouTube. By the way, if you are not already following her vlogs, go check her out I really believe her to be such a funny, down to earth young lady which has a great sense of style and sense of lifestyle as well :) I just love her and want to spread the word around (Not that she needs it) about her great content. Go Lydia! Now, back to what this post was originally intended for.. Lydia did a great collaboration with the brand and I just immediately fell in love with literally all of their pieces. They have a range of things such as earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets. Their website, here. You're welcome!

I've recently been flirting with the idea of getting additional ear piercings and have finally made my mind up about it. I will get my piercings done very shortly in the coming weeks. I've been debating for the last year or so whether it was worth it and if I should bother. Having said this, I obviously really want to have a beautifully curated ear if I am going to invest time into getting additional piercings. I'd want for my jewellery to be varied yet match altogether if that makes sense. So I've been on the lookout for various brands online I could find or physical stores in malls here in Sydney for gold earrings which are also "trendy" and relevant. And I don't know if I'm just not looking in the right places or have not researched sufficiently but I just cannot seem to find anything that I really like at an affordable price. The Iconic has beautiful earrings as per the usual but many of these are simply too expensive for the moment and if I'm looking at purchasing 5 pairs or so to mix and match it just does not make any sense to be spending 300$ per earring. Getting back to Astrid & Miyu, I am just absolutely loving all of their huggies and feminine options in terms of earrings and it really is priced affordably in my opinion and I have been sold immediately.

So, if you're like me, and are wanting to amp up your ear game head over to their website and have a look at what they offer. I've made a Wishlist for what I would like to slowly build on and purchase for myself in adding to my ear game collection.

My Wishlist:

I really find it pretty when all my earrings match in terms of colour of gold. I always loved rose gold and its tint compliments my natural skin tone. I'm definitely going to be investing my money with this brand with regards to my next pairs/single earrings. I was recently debating whether I should be piercing my conch or not to put in a gold ring huggie. However, after having had my tragus and daith pierced it took so long for both of these to heal properly that I just don't think it is worthwhile to be worrying about a third piercing which will require my constant attention. I'm still needing to apply vitamin E on my daith piercing and I've had it pierced for over 1 year now. It really gets annoying sometimes. So when I noticed Astrid & Miyu sells their various ear cuffs which I can "fakely" apply on my conch area (And nobody will even notice that it's not even a real piercing) I said Hell Yes! Plus, have you seen how gorgeous they are for cuffs?! ...I'm in! Most importantly, all of these are 18k rose gold plated over sterling silver. This is crucial for me as I'm allergic to anything not sterling or gold.

I never knew I could get so excited over curating my ears! Actually, yes I do!, when finding the perfect brand to match your needs and style.

Enjoy the shopping! Again, here is the Astrid & Miyu website, in case you missed it above.
